How to Create a Task:
To create a task, add a task name and follow these steps:
Step 1: Select Products
You can choose specific products based on your requirements.
There are 2 task types to select specific products:
Manual Task
1. If you choose manual option under Task type, you can manually select the products from the Browse option.
2. You can either select the products from the list or search for products by keywords.
3. The products you have selected will appear.
You also have the option to delete the products from the displayed list under "Action".
4. Click the 'Continue' option to proceed to step 2.
Smart Task
Smart automatically adds existing and future products that match the conditions you define.
The Filter section is where you define the matching rules for Smart selection. You can choose up to 2 filters, and:
They must be different types: one Live + one Background
This helps combine real-time and background logic safely, avoiding conflicting rules.
If you select two filters, choose how they interact:
AND: Products must match both filters
OR: Products can match either filter

Smart tasks rely on filters. To learn how to create and manage filters, please refer to Create Filter / View Filter.
Step 2: Define Rules & Schedule
Hide Settings
1. You can change the status of the product from "Active" to either "Draft" or "Archived". If you wish to keep the status active, select "Don't update the status".
2. You can hide products with inventory less than a specific quantity using the "Hide when stock is less than" option.
Unhide Settings
1. Toggle on the Enabled option to activate the Unhide Settings.
2. You can select the status from which you want to unhide products, such as active, draft, or archived.
3. You can use this option to unhide products with inventory greater than or equal to a specific quantity.
Frequency
You can determine the frequency of the task by choosing whether it will be performed manually or scheduled to run at intervals, such as hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
Step 3: Review & Submit
1. You can check the added products, hide settings, unhide settings, and frequency of the created task.
2. Click "Submit" at the bottom of the page to save your task settings.
