Using Ouiteo with multiple stores and Shopify Markets

How Ouiteo works across several stores, and what to expect with Shopify Markets.

Written by David Farrington

Here's how Ouiteo behaves when you run more than one store, or use Shopify Markets.

Each store is set up on its own

Ouiteo is installed and configured per Shopify store. Each store has its own settings, collections and subscription β€” configuration doesn't automatically carry from one store to another. If you manage several stores, you'll set up sorting in each one.

Moving settings between stores

Within a single store you can export and import collection settings (available on Silver plans and above). There isn't currently a one-click way to copy settings or collections directly from one store to another β€” if this is important to your workflow, let us know and we can advise on the best approach for your setup.

Shopify Markets

Shopify lets a collection show different products or pricing per market, but it stores a single product order for the collection that applies across all markets. Ouiteo sets that one order, so a collection is merchandised consistently for every market β€” there isn't a separate, per-market sort order. If you need different ordering for different regions, the usual approach is to use separate collections per region.
