To create a new collection, go to the "Create Collection" and define your conditions for that specific collection. Both existing and future products that align with the conditions you've selected will be automatically included in these collections.
If you wish to modify the condition of an already existing collection, navigate to the View Collections page and select the "Details" option to edit the specific collection.
1. Select the collection title
Title: Please make sure that you provide a name for your collection before proceeding with its creation as every collection must have a designated name.
2. Select what products to add
Collection type - Advanced: You can use multiple conditions and define how those conditions are checked against attributes on every product during every collection update.
Collection type - Manual: The manual option displays all products and variants according to the conditions, and provides the flexibility to manually select the products
Note:
The "include" option applies if any specified conditions are met, while the "exclude" option ensures that all specified conditions are considered.
"include" works as OR condition
"exclude" works as AND condition
While creating a new collection, you can add up to 20 conditions
3. Preview selected products
By selecting the "Preview Matched Products" button, you can quickly view the products included in a collection.
You also have the option to search for specific products and check if they are part of the collection. Additionally, you can pick various metrics to access details about the products.
4. Select how to create / update collection:
Number of products in the collection: Specify how many products you want to include in the collection.
Update: Choose a frequency for updating collections
Set the time for auto-updating: Select the time at which you want the collection to be updated. It's generally best to choose a time when store traffic is low, so visitors won't see different collections during a refresh.
Exclude the following selected product(s):
Out-of-stock products: exclude any out-of-stock products in the selected collection. Also, you can specify the minimum required inventory.
Unpublished products: exclude any unpublished products in the selected collection
Products without images: exclude any products without images in the selected collection
Products with specific tags: exclude any products with specific tags in the selected collection. Please type in texts and hit enter in the box.
5. Create / update Collection
Note:
The “Update Now” button was removed during collection editing to prevent confusion and ensure that collections always update with the latest saved settings.
