Question 1: How to restrict customers from applying discount codes for products on sale?

Answer:

To prevent discount codes from applying to already discounted items, you can use either of these methods:

  1. Shopify Admin:

    • Create a collection "Eligible for Discount" as an automated collection.

    • Set conditions to include products with a price greater than 0 and an empty 'Compare at price'.

    • In 'Discounts', create or edit a discount and apply it to "Eligible for Discount".

    • Create a collection "Eligible for Discount".

    • In the "Select what products to add" section, include products based on Product type or Vendor name, and exclude those with Discount % greater than 0.

Check this article for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Question 2: Why can I not see discounts on my product page although I ran the price edits task?

Answer:

The app will change prices, compare at price, and cost on the backend. It's the same as manually changing prices on your Shopify admin page.

Therefore, if you cannot see new discounts even after your edit task is completed, it's likely because of the app related to your storefront. Please sync prices in the app, such as product and collection filters, etc.

Question 3: What is a Countdown Timer and how can I make one?

Answer:

A Countdown Timer is a virtual timer placed on your shop's landing page. The Countdown Timer will help you create an urgency for potential buyers to purchase the currently available products. You can access the Countdown Timer by navigating to Sales Manager > Countdown Timer.

Question 4: What is a Sale Badge and how can I make one?
